Resonance describes the quality of reflection and the back and forth play of energy between two bodies. These silent forces are invisible ties that weave together the shape and sound of our world. Everything is connected, intertwined, bound–part of a single entity.
Echo is a collection that captures the idea of being single yet infinite. The dynamic of sound and being is formed from the innate swells and flow of life. Within the echoes is the power to evoke thoughts, memories, and emotions of our world and our placement at the center of it. This movement of reverberation is represented by the endless lines that swirl inside and around us, creating an everlasting chain of echo upon echo.
My inspiration for this collection was taken from sound waves and the way that energy moves through space. I wanted to create something that was wearable with a unique edge. I took inspiration from cosmic movement and colors and the way that elements were connected with one another. I wanted the collection to feel fluid, contemporary, and cohesive.

I began by drafting ideas and creating a mood board with the images and motifs that inspired my collection. I sketched out numerous designs before finalizing on the three that I ended with. Each design included multiple iterations where played around with silhouette and structure to make each look distinct yet connected. I chose a fabric that had some weight and structure to it, which would work with the surface manipulations weaved throughout garment.
